At the Grupo ADI we are always on the cutting edge, striving to obtain the latest certifications to meet our international customers’ needs.
To this end, ADI has managed to secure kosher certification for some of its products after a thorough review process carried out by specialized rabbis.
This certification enables us to serve the Jewish market; some of the company’s major customers sell their products, in turn, on international markets with a significant Jewish presence, and this certification opens doors, allowing us to offer them our raw materials.
What is kosher?
The word “kosher” means “adequate or “acceptable.”
Rooted in the five books of Moses in the Bible, the fundamental principles of kosher eating are based on kashrut, a set of dietary laws governing the foods that Jews are permitted to eat.
Jews are called upon to observe these rules, which have been applied to the increasingly-complex world of food ingredients and food production.
Kosher certification is now considered an independent international quality certification in its own right.
