On Saturday, May 7, 2022, the Everesting Challenge will be held, which consists of simulating the elevation gain of a climb up Mt Everest by riding from Monistrol to the Monastery, 16 times.
This is a charity challenge to raise funds for research into and the fight against childhood cancer; specifically, the DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) tumor, the most frequent brain stem tumor in children. Though it still has no cure, but, thanks to research, we are close to finding it.
There are many activities that are done to help the laboratory at the Hospital de Sant Joan de Déu to raise funds and, on this occasion, the Grupo ADI wanted to help.
