THE GRUPO ADI MANUFACTURES AND MARKETS THE TECSTAR® FIBER, A CROSS-LINKED POLYACRYLATE SYNTHETIC FIBER USED TO CREATE A FLAME-RETARDANT FABRIC THAT, WHEN SUBJECTED TO HIGH TEMPERATURES, DOES NOT MELT, BURN, OR DRIP, BUT RATHER CARBONIZES.
Tecstar boasts more than 45 years of experience in the Textile industry , and its fiber is the fruit of years of research. Several versions of it are patented in and registered as a European brand. It has different applications, such as the construction of components for some means of transport (metro, railways …); and the manufacture of gas filters, fabrics for official protective clothing (firefighters, race car drivers, welders …), and construction and decoration materials (carpets, curtains, blankets …).
It is also worth highlighting the antistatic, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties of the fiber, as well as its soft and pleasant touch.
