High-quality chemicals
Grupo ADI has 3 laboratories of its own, in Spain, Portugal and Brazil, each specializing in something different. Transversally, at all of them we carry out quality control.
Analyses and tests are run to ensure that the chemicals marketed comply with quality specifications and industry regulations. We consider this an essential part of the production and commercialization of chemical substances, as they guarantee that our products meet quality standards.
It is also a critical component in the identification of product quality issues and the handling of quality-related complaints; in these cases, our laboratories carry out detailed tests and analyses of the products to identify the root cause of the problem. By identifying the underlying problems in the production process, measures are taken to correct them and improve the overall quality of our products in the future.

However, there are certain tests that we cannot conduct internally, due to a lack of specialized equipment, experience, or technical capabilities.
To remedy this, Grupo ADI has forged relationships with specialized external laboratories that can con-duct these specific analyses, thereby ensuring that the necessary tests are performed in accordance with the standards and requirements specified.
By outsourcing certain tests Grupo ADI ensures that its products and services comply with quality stan-dards without having to invest in expensive equipment or to hire additional staff with specialized skills.
This strategy also helps improve the efficiency of our laboratories by allowing the company to focus on its core expertise rather than trying to cover every possible test or analysis.
ADI INTERNATIONAL
Spain
ADI Spain’s laboratory is also specialized in Research and Development (R&D), which is fundamental to the company’s long-term success. R&D enables the company to stay on the cutting edge of innovation in the field of Chemistry and to develop new products that can improve people’s quality of life and the industry’s performance.
The importance of R&D lies in the ability to boost production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve pro-duct quality. It also allows us to create innovative solutions for environmental and social challenges, such as sustainability, safety and health.
Various activities are carried out in laboratories. Among them, research and experiments are carried out to discover new applications and products, as well as to improve existing ones. New technologies and processes to be applied to production are tes-ted and analyzed, and the effects of chemicals on the processes in which they are involved are studied. All of this involves working closely with customers to understand their needs and develop customized solutions. Field tests and market studies are conducted to determine new products’ commercial viability.

Portugal
ADI Portugal’s laboratory is specialized in textile applications. It is responsible for carrying out tests and analyses of textile auxiliaries to ensure their quality and their capacity to function properly in the textile field. At this lab tests are performed to evaluate different aspects of the product, such as washing resis-tance, color stability, abrasion resistance, tensile strength, elasticity and permeability.
Tests are also performed to evaluate the product’s compatibility with different types of fabrics and production processes, and to determine whether the product is suitable for use in a wide variety of applications.
To run these tests the laboratory uses a variety of specialized equipment and machinery, such as dyeing and washing, color measurement, strength testing and abrasion testing machines and equipment.
